Grenzen verleggen

Het idee voor Secretlab ontstond door iets eenvoudigs. Onze oprichters Ian en Alaric waren gefrustreerd geraakt door hun oneindige zoektocht naar een gamestoel waar ze tevreden over waren. Dus besloten ze om hun eigen stoel te ontwikkelen. Ze hadden grote ambities: om de gamestoelindustrie te veranderen met een stoel waarin prachtige esthetiek werd gecombineerd met alleen de allerbeste materialen.

Het verschil maken

De COVID-19-pandemie heeft ons allemaal geraakt. In het midden van dit alles stonden zorgmedewerkers elke dag aan de frontlinie en liepen ze risico's bij het beschermen van de rest van ons. Om het tekort aan persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen zoals maskers aan te pakken, hebben we samen met onze partners in esports en games, waaronder Riot Games, Valve, Cloud9, G2 Esports, Team Secret en OG, in totaal 400.000 door de FDA goedgekeurde maskers gedoneerd aan ziekenhuizen in de VS, het VK en Singapore.

Om al het goede dat de gaming community kan bewerkstelligen, te onderstrepen hebben we streamers ondersteund bij het inzamelen van geld voor het St. Jude Children's Research Hospital tijdens GuardianCon. Zittend in Secretlab-stoelen haalden streamers in totaal een recordbedrag op van $ 4 miljoen, waarbij DrLupo als anker fungeerde en andere favoriete streamers zoals Tfue aanwezig waren.
